Work For Us

Central Hall Roles

We're recruiting for a range of roles needed to support the variety of activities taking place across our venue:

Coffee Shop Manager for Central Coffee: We're looking for a highly motivated and entrepreneurial person to take over the day-to-day management of Central Coffee and catering. The customer base is extremely varied, with great potential to be expanded, and there are a multitude of events and room hires at Central Hall which also provide good catering opportunities.

The ideal candidate will be looking to grow their current hospitality and business skills, and will create and implement a business plan designed to drive sales and increase profitability. The key remit for the role is to manage the coffee shop and optimise profit, whilst remaining consistent with the ethos and community focus of the organisation. With the support of the commercial team, the manager will need to actively grow the turnover and customer base.

Marketing and Communications Manager: We're also recruiting for a Marketing and Communications Manager for Central Hall, one of the largest event venues in Southampton. This is a pivotal role where you will be responsible for online and offline key marketing initiatives to establish and communicate our brand. This is a hands-on role where you will be involved in the full marketing mix and key consumer engagement programmes, including campaigns, PR, advertising, social media, and overall brand strategy. This role will be based at the offices of, and working closely with, our Digital Partners, Etch - a leading and innovative Digital Marketing company.

The ideal candidate will have a drive for excellence, a strong customer focus and a spirit to succeed, coupled with marketing and communications management experience.
